If haven’t read the book Novella “the Churn”, it is Amos origin story. No spoilers you know how Amos exits Baltimore.

Metro498

Avasarala walked the line between cocky and confident for a while, until she got a few wins and suddenly she can do no wrong in her own mind. Her refusal to face reality is what caused her loss, and I never felt sympathy for her after all the bullshit she tried in S4. She's not the type to wallow though; she's more masculine than most of the main cast, so I'm not worried long term.

Zyrus

Excellent reaction girls. Looking forward to the rest excellent episodes of this season (and of course the final season)

AlexBoss

It also makes so much sense now why Amos always followed Naomi in the first 2 seasons, he finally met someone truly "righteous" as Lydia would say and he felt that even though he couldn't actually be like her, he could at least protect her and follow whatever she says, it also explains his devotion to Prax, Anna, Holden, and Alex. All morally correct people who he feels the world needs.

Nyeisha Melvina Clark

I know her as Susan Jacobs from Mr. Robot. Love to see her in anything

Isaac

Whoa, Lola really had the waterworks flowing in this episode. 😭

Christopher Alexander

One other interesting note: Sandrine Holt who plays Oksana, one of the belters in Drummer's new crew, also plays Howard's wife on Better Call Saul :).

Nume Hall

because every last one is amazing! Enjoy this journey!

DrEEsky

Always enjoy your discussion after each episode. Looking forward to the next 14 episodes :)

Because of the uncertainties of orbital mechanics, it's almost impossible to target asteroids to hit specific spots on any planet. In fact, there's always some uncertainty on hitting a planet at all. There's a certain amount of luck involved. You'll just have to wait to see how "lucky" Marco is...if at all. 😀

T. Arnold Ferguson

They’re always going to love Drummer 🤷🏼🤣

Wanda Did Nothing Wrong

I wonder how much their gonna love the belt next episode. Lol

Shehan

Oh and regarding your comment about everyone always being from the US, the funny thing about that is almost everyone involved in this show on every level from cast to crew to extras is Canadian. So Im sure they empathize with you on that.

Ken Hendel

Well I don't know if I'd say Delgado threw Avasarala under the bus exactly. He was being honest, and if anything it was Avasarala who was asking him to oversell. Something that he just refused to do. But yeah, I agree that Nancy, to her credit, did consider Avasarala's position. Definitely more so than Avasarala ever did for Nancy's views back in S4. Although by the look of Nancy's face while Avasarala was making her pitch, I think Nancy was just waiting to throw that back in her face, regardless of what Delgado said.

John is a term for a prostitutes customers. Unless its classy, then theyre clients. And Erich is a German spelling, but we don't really have that German "ch" sound in English so it's just pronounced Eric.

Ken Hendel

In the US, "Johns" is a common term for men who hire prostitutes.

Scott Fellows

Well, she did listen to what Chrisjen said, and then asked the admiral if he could corroborate it. He threw her under the bus by saying no, making Gao think she's just being paranoid and meddling.

Ken Hendel

It's honestly really hard not to binge the rest of the show from this point

Alex Albano

Not necessarily to excuse Nancy Gao's attitude towards Avasarala, but remember in their first scene together back in S04E01 Avasarala was just as dismissive towards Nancy on her legitimate opinions too. Both of them are certainly acting a bit juvenile, but I think they both see other's actions as deliberate ploys to try and cut their main policy at the knees (Colonial Expansion for Nancy, in this case). Nancy basically thinks that Avasarala is throwing hail-marys to find something that will weaken the UN's (economically successful) expansion into the ring worlds.

Varun Laks

Heh, how many episodes did you binge all at once?

Martin Nicholls

Pretty sure johns refers to the "clients".

Lychee

The switch on Amos' face when he realizes that Charles really did care about Lydia ("T..tea sounds great.") is maybe my favorite small acting moment in the show
