2022-08-03 17:37:32 +0000 UTCThat shot of a dying Fred Johnson looking out the window at the wrecked dockyard as he’s floated past it is one of the saddest shots in the entire show imo. It felt like a tragic callback to when he urged Holden to go build something for himself. In his final moments, Fred was faced with the reality that what he had worked so hard to build on Tycho had failed. To know as you take your final breaths that your life’s work has been destroyed by the very people you had pledged yourself to help has got to be one of the most heartbreaking things someone can experience.
