There is no other clear path for belter equality; morality is a luxury of the fortunate. Even post ring-incident, the Inners neither respected nor feared the Belt. And the Belt lacked the unity, mutually assured destruction or monopolistic resources to force their hand. Short of a miracle, history shows the Belt's position would continue eroding. Already, we've seen Earth & Mars backpedal on aggreements, sign the "New Terra" charter to kick out the settlement & force belters to hunt their own. Also, in the book 1.5 million belters died on Eros (vs 100k) and 14 billion died to the rocks (vs "millions presumed"). According to the authors, it's "because producers are scared of large numbers." From an initial population of 30 Billion, we're talking Thanos level extinction.

2022-08-16 07:36:04 +0000 UTCDefinitely among my top 5 episodes. Wonderful episode and indeed the interactions between Amos and Clarissa are fantastic. They quickly became my favorite duo for this season. Fantastic reaction once again girls. Can't wait for more. Oh and now that you are approaching the end, i would definitely advise you to start either Black Sails or The Last Kingdom (or maybe both :-) ). They are fantastic shows and right up your alley. They definitely seem like the type of shows you would love. And i can safely say for both of them that they have fantastic endings, so you won't have to worry about another Game of thrones type of show here.
