Seeing you guys smile watching this show makes us so happy! Mob is so great and his interactions with others amazing. Seeing him grow and be able to change people. This episode felt like a movie.

Mob's "vessel" is basically referring to his body, or at least in the mental world, the astral representation of his body. Technically Mogami's evil spirits truly defeated Mob in that last segment of the fight; they ended up overwhelming him, and in a sense, were able to successfully destroy him. However, by destroying Mob; by destroying the vessel that contains his mind, spirit, and psychic powers, they unleashed the entity that we've come to know as ??? So we now understand that Mob's body; his vessel, acts as a container for something far more powerful than anyone could ever imagine. Mob, the most powerful esper in the world operating at 100% courage (the second time his powers have reached 100% through positive emotions), was struggling to annihilate all the evil spirits. But then ??? just comes out of nowhere and makes everything Mob was facing up until that point look like a joke by immediately wiping out Mogami's entire mental universe in just a second!!! That's how powerful whatever resides in Mob is. Just what is ??? %? Stay tuned to find out

100 percent agree with everything you said. Haikyuu gave me a special kind of joy and healed me while I was watching AOT haha. It portrays such a wholesome outlook on life. The characters are SO lovable. I can see LM crying happy tears for our boys every match.

My take on that last scene between mogami and mob is that mogami actually broke mob’s vessel in the spirit world, he actually managed to defeat mob at 100% and destroyed his physical envelope. That’s when the ???% kicked in and that’s why mogami was wondering about what’s « inside » mob, because he was maybe witnessing the actual source of mob’s power in it’s purest form, without mob’s physical body to « hold it back » in a way. After that mob in his ???% form completely destroyed the world mogami created hence why he woke up in the real world a few moments after that. It’s only an interpretation ofc, at this point, the ???% is still a complete mystery ! Apart form that great reaction to one of the most beautifully crafted episode I ever seen !

Great episode, next week is even better. The discussion afterwards should be very interesting...

Completely agreed!! In the same vein/style of show, I'd highly recommend Run With The Wind. Great, positive, lovable characters, and it's significantly shorter than Haikyuu, which might be a better fit for certain parts of the schedule 😁

Normally I wouldn't pitch a thought and would be glad to follow whatever shows the two of you are watching, but since you're close to catching up on Mob Psycho, and pretty much 2/3rd's through FMAB, just wrapped up BCS and not far with the expanse, I think there is another show you two might enjoy. It's been mentioned many times with MP100 and FMAB that you really enjoy how they spotlight the importance of love and kindness, the different positive relationship dynamics, and lovable characters among other things. With those things in mind, I think you would like Haikyuu. Upfront, it’s a sports anime where most of the action revolves around volleyball. Knowledge and experience of volleyball is not required at all, but I think having even some experience in playing sports, even casually, helps. Besides that, the amount of attention put towards life lessons of teamwork, friendship, trust, growing from failure, following passion, valuing the things you enjoy and so on mixed with the many, many charming characters would give similar feelings of joy that I feel like MP100 and FMAB give, little less serious given the stakes and subject matter, but adjacent in it’s feel-good-but-also-stressed-at-times tone.
