2022-08-24 20:12:38 +0000 UTCIn my mind, with GRR Martin not being involved in GOT past S4, he’s still supposed to be writing the next book, he’s already said the book series and the show are going to end differently, so GOT, is basically an Alternate Universe Fanfiction, that got made into a show. GRRM is back being heavily involved with this show tho, so that gives me hope too

2022-08-23 00:34:01 +0000 UTCActually got myself a wowtv (formerly known as Sky) subscription just for House of the Dragon since it's the only streaming service that offers the series here in Germany. Turns out wowtv is complete garbage and speeds up all it's shows and movies by like 4-5%. I just tested this with several movies that are both on Amazon prime and wowtv. I'm not sure if this is a bug or if wowtv is just run by a bunch of dicks. This is what you get for not pirating, I guess.

So since HBO isn't available everywhere, or for others reasons, they probably use the pirated version from HBO US. So if you are from a country without the same shit, it's a pain to sync (I remember when GoT was still on an was using legal ways in France, I had to pause everynow and then). So you have 2 choices, adapting or downloading a pirate version :(
