Yes, the scenes with Naomi can be painful to watch (they were/are for me), but show the brilliance of the character as well as how great an actor Dominic Tipper is. The Expanse was her first "real" acting role, and she feels she has grown over the seasons. I agree. The fact that she didn't get any awards for her performance just shows how messed up the various awards processes are.

2022-08-23 11:20:37 +0000 UTCI commented about this I think after season 3 or 4 when people were talking about which season was their favorite and people's opinions on season 5 were pretty split. Season 5 is hard to watch because of how painful it is. I absolutely love season 3 with all my heart because it was so epic and you never got a second to catch your breath because of how fast paced it was. But the interpersonal drama, the realistic consequences, and oh my god the acting performances of season 5 are just insane. Its not fun like season 3 was, it's amazing and rewarding in entirely different ways.

2022-08-23 05:14:47 +0000 UTCi believe that when Naomi was going back and forth changing the message every trip took air out of the main area of the ship. She passed through the airlock and into the hull of the ship and transferred the volume of air held in the air lock with every trip. This air would pass into the hull and meant her stay there could be a little longer each time. Of course she had to be careful and count the trips to be sure not to lose to much air and life support from the main area of the shop as well. Do not know if this heightens or lessons the tension but 'boy oh boy' Naomi is smart.
