Are you talking about the movies, or the books? Because in the books, it takes a good while to even get to the Ringwraiths. You have to go through all of Bilbo's party and Gandalf leaving to meet with Saruman. The Peter Jackson movies, though long, are only 3 movies. This is supposed to stretch over 5 seasons. Yeah, there are some choices they have done that I'm scratching my head over, but overall I've enjoyed this return visit to Middle-Earth. I'm sorry you slept through Numenor taking arms and Sauron taking over the Southlands.

No it doesn't, Tolkien's writing is beautiful and this is just total nonsense like and seems to go nowhere. The start of Lord of the Rings is extremely suspenseful with the wring-wraiths chasing Frodo, etc. In this show the first season is half over and pretty much nothing has happened other then with that elf and human woman in the southlands

I mean they were all kings of man and since he is with Galadriel and she got one of the 3 rings for the elves would make sense . As for stranger would make sense he is one of the wizards , but timeline would be wrong . But then it was said that maybe they visited before if I remember correctly so still possible I guess . So it’s either one of the 3 whose names we know or one of the two blue wizards . Gandalf would be most obvious since he always loved hobbits .
