It's one of my favorite shows of all time alongside Band of Brothers so when you girls decided to react to them at the same time I knew I had to subscribe to Patreon. Going to enjoy your The Wire & Severance reactions in the future :P P.S. I don't remember if you've ever mentioned it, but have you seen True Detective Season 1? It's another in the top10 shows of mine and I believe it's an essential viewing for any TV lover and will be right up your alley (only season one though, the series is an anthology so season 1 is a complete story and future seasons are... quite bad actually :D).

2023-04-19 13:36:55 +0000 UTCYes, despite seeing that "You have not been the same the last couple of months" revisited in the montage, it took me until this rewatch to realize how much more there is to Angela in S1 in that vein. I always thought it was a bit weak and random how angry she seemed at Elliot ("I feel like I don't know him anymore"), and a bit shoehorned that just because of the fsociety stuff she felt like he was so distant but it's not nearly as weak as I thought and is actually kind of genius the way her behavior is recontextualized.

Shayla loved MM lol

2023-04-19 01:53:32 +0000 UTCThis was cool to rewatch, seeing so many different things / it was an entire different show to rewatch - such a brilliant show. I think Lola cried at least once every episode in Season 4 - this show hits you on all your human elements so beautifully. One thing that stood out to me on the rewatch was back in Season 1 was Angela circling around her apartment, the first time I thought "oh that's just her character, a worrier" - second time through it's clear she's freaking out because she realizes that Elliot has changed suddenly and she's trying to work it out / if it's the same Elliot - "Something is going on with you, Elliot, you have not been the same the last couple of months" - then the shot of her in her apartment and she's talking to herself / breaking down her last interaction with Elliot.
