2023-01-13 03:03:49 +0000 UTCHello, I know that you girls edit the videos yourself, I was wondering if you would consider doing the discussions like Blindwave does, instead of cutting most of it, just leave timestamps for the particular topics that you are talking in that moment, at least to me that would be better and it might help you with the trouble of editing... but it's just a suggestion tho

2023-01-02 21:36:37 +0000 UTCI really love how Yukimura, instead of picking historical figures who have an exhaustive amount of history recorded, chose people like Thorfinn, Thorkell, Canute, etc who, while documented well, have plenty of blank moments and “tall tales” that are clearly fictional. That way he can fill in the blanks but still have it align (loosely) with real history. It allows him to write crazy things but still have it feel grounded in a weird way.

The scene showing Thorkell and his men eating food from a village and drinking that tavern dry the episode after Askeladd's group slaughters a village for food I think was intentional to show the difference in how Thorkell and Askeladd operate

2022-12-31 22:08:53 +0000 UTCI just love how over-the-top Yukimura wrote Torkell. But you also have to admit that Torkell must have been a pretty good fighter. He fought in a hell of a lot of battles, so he's written down well in history. For comparison, Prince Canute's childhood (-15) is almost unknown. The first time he is mentioned in history is in 1013 because King Sweyn took him to London.
