Mob Psycho 100 3x11 Reaction

one more week before we lose all the happiness that mob psycho 100 gave us

Mob Psycho 100 3x11 Reaction

Comments

Why isn't 3x12 unlocked for $5 tier yet? It says one episode in advance, and 3x12 was posted for the $10 tier over two weeks ago. Does $5 tier mean anything?

Karuvitomsk

In my opinion, Hunter x Hunter is a masterpiece next to Attack on Titan and Fullmetal Alchemist. However, it will be a very long journey since most of the moving scenes are from episode 100 onwards.

itoto

***Slight Spoiler Having them watch Made In Abyss as a “happy” anime would have them feel the betrayal they felt watching Mob when they thought Mob’s family actually got killed but then even worse. Think it’s great, but not what they’re looking for rn. Maybe as a Vinland replacement

Jed U

Samurai Champloo

Nathan Elkin

The issue with mangas/anime like Hunter x Hunter is that they're designed to not have an ending and just keep going until the author says otherwise (or dies). They're a meal ticket, a job, a career, and nobody starts a career with the intention of quitting after exactly x amount of time. It's also a fight anime and LM are not its intended audience. However, it does have elements which they will definitely enjoy.

Orr Malus

I kinda agree. I love HxH, but people think its the best anime ever created. I honestly don't see it at all. Such boring arcs like ***** island arc, ****** exam arc was kinda hit or miss, and the beginning of ****** ant arc was suchhh a slow builder, when it didnt need to be as much. I would agree though to watch HxH one day, just not as of now when they are starting to get into anime.

Alex cleveland

Honestly, I almost want them to watch Hunter x Hunter just so people will stop asking for it or hating on it. Every week, no matter what show they're watching, HxH comes up in the comments... I can't judge the show, because I've never watched it, but the constant debates have gotten old... Milena and Lola are well aware that HxH is both highly requested and opposed (depending on who you ask), so why must it keep coming up? On the other hand, unless they're willing to dedicate multiple slots, the reaction series would take a long time to complete.

Merfhew

HxH isn't even thattt wholesome lol. Its pretty dark. But I can understand if they don't want to watch a series thats not done yet and only has one season out for this poll. I just don't want HxH, its too freaking long and it would honestly be boring to wait 70-80 plus weeks for them to finish this show. HxH pacing isn't gonna be good compared to the other anime they've watched... Not even close

Alex cleveland

MONSTERは漫画でしか読んでなくてアニメは知らないけど、全体的に暗くてLMに向いてる作品だとは思えない。

うどん

Hunter x Hunter is zzzzzzzzzzzz..... The pinnacle of mediocrity.

AndrewMV

The only good thing about that anime is the opening.

AndrewMV

Thats another big reason I don't think HxH is a great choice. No hate to HxH or LM but, that shit would take a slot for years lmao. Even with a 2x week.

SupremeCai

spoilers- Honestly the only thing missing from the main story would be kurapika's lack of involvement in the ending. It's Gon's story and the Zodiacs, Dark Continent, Phantom Troupe aren't integral to it. I feel like a good analogy would be like saying The Hobbit is a complete and full story despite the fact it sets up the Lord of the Rings.

Antonio

I don't think erased is ongoing. Pretty sure I finished it last year lol

Dante Moten

They like shows to be finished, they said they didn't want to watch Spy family b/c it's only one season and coming out with more; chainsaw man, jjk, demon slayer, erased are all ongoing animes, and they currently want to replace mob with something happier and not another violent angsty shonen. (which honestly yeah hxh should be after vinland then)

Antonio

Angel beats is a very good anime you should watch

Jakov

I would like if they didnt have to watch 147 eps of an anime when there's so many other AMAZING anime out there that are 12 eps-24eps..... Spy x Family is amazing watch! 25 eps romcom, slice of life show! Chainsaw Man is only 12 eps, one season! Amazing undertones of dark and brutal lifestyles for this character cast! Amazing action, shit tons of gore, sensual vibes, and a fantastic animation all the way through. Erased is 12 eps! Psychological thriller, dark mature messages about how brutal life can be! Demon Slayer is 30 some eps lol and a movie! Some of the best animation you'll ever see in an animation show! Fights are godly, emotionally captivating, unique character cast and great lore! All these shows are 40 eps or less and I think you'll appreciate watching shorter anime that sometimes hit better than ur typical long running Shōnen shows. HxH is great anime, but imo its extremely overrated in a lot of categories. My main issue is how uninteresting certain arcs can be. And they're long ass arcs too, so take that into consideration if you tryna watch something so damn long lol😂

Alex cleveland

I don't think anyone mentioned this before. If you're apprehensive about choosing Hunter x Hunter because of its length know that it's broken down into standalone story arcs which last only 1-2 seasons.

Orr Malus

Interesting....left me confused with how much more was left unanswered/unexplored. Then I found out about the manga lmao HxH was so long ago now that it's what introduced me to mangas. To each their own though, no where near as bad a suggestion as Demon Slayer lol

SupremeCai

I'm really happy to hear that HunterxHunter and Haikyuu are for sure making the poll and they will probably duke out the winner amongst themselves and I'll be happy with whichever one wins. Monster as well, but I don't see it ever winning a poll unfortunatly and Im just hoping that you'll just pick it without a poll one day, because its just a psychological thriller masterpiece that is criminally underwatched/reacted to by the anime community and it would fit so well as a reaction series with you 2. My soul could rest easy wherever it goes, If LM reactions and Filmbuff react to Monster one day lol But yeah as a Mob replacement HunterxHunter and Haikyuu especially make a lot of sense. We should all by now get the kind of Anime/Shows Lola and Milena are looking for and great/well-written/complex and/or wholesome charachters/casts should be number one and you'll get that plenty of that with those 2 and others like Monster, Ranking of Kings, Fruits Basket etc. On the other hand without mentioning the names of the series, but let's please not recommend shows with a lot of weird/abundant fanservice, Action heavy shows with lackluster cast of charachters etc. There are plenty of shows that I love, but would just not work at all with their tastes and we should take that into consideration over unfitting personal favorties Cant wait for the next next Mob and Vinland episodes. Special Stuff incoming <3

DefensiveOnion

Everything other than Demon Slayer are great suggestions

SupremeCai

Looking forward to seeing you two finish this one, sorry the action didn't end in this one, think FMAB might've gotten some hopes up aha. The ending is still what you're looking for regardless. Also now that I know from one of the intro talks, Merry Christmas!

Alex

I think Made in Abyss might be good to watch, both happy and sad at parts, interesting story and decent character development.

Buxton

Yeah no I still stand by what I said, but if you think it can give off the same vibes as Mob it’s fine dude. I love Made in Abyss btw I just feel it’s absolutely not what they’re aiming at the moment. Their choice if they want to add it in the poll ofc.

Sebox

Samurai Champloo, short and amazing

Cation

I would recommend "Monster" a slow paced, character driven story with both happy and depressive moments. I think you both would love it.

AndrewMV

I'd rather be vague and let them experience it than spoil the experience by setting their expectations. I do really think it's happy-go-lucky like Mob in many ways though, so I think saying it's opposite isn't right at all.

A

HxH is very action/battle focused (though yes, it has great emotional depth and character interactions...but the ratio of that to action is less than Mob). And it's very long (more than twice as long as FMA:B). It'd be better to replace vinland saga for 2 a day imo.

A

There's 3 more weeks of Vinland and then 24 more weeks of season 2. It'll be once a week so they might slot another show in but it should probably be something short. I do want them to watch Monster though. Edit : didn't see Goob's comment. My bad.

Rinne

If you want happy show next, I'd suggest: - Haikyuu - Spy X Family - Ranking of Kings (some drama, but good vibes) - Stein's Gate (some drama, but mostly good vibes). A classic. Definitely a must watch at some point.

MaxVSTheGames

I think Hunter X Hunter should be on your list at some point. It's definitely darker than MOB but it also has great characters

Vict

Vinland Saga will have a season 2 started before they finish S1. So I’m guessing they’ll still need one day for it still once they catch up. I think a shorter series like Squid Game would fit best in the left over day because one episode a week would be fine for that show since it has a short episode count.

Goob

I definitely recommend the anime “monster”. It’s a really deep and well written anime that fit the “vibe” of anime toy guys like where it carry’s a deeper meaning. (74 episodes, 2 seasons, the series is finished) If you guys are looking for a shorter anime I definitely recommend “Cowboy Bebop”. It’s an incredible series that’s only one season. It’s also very impactful and emotional with an incredible art style. You also should watch it in English dub. It’s the ONLY anime that everyone (including the creator) agrees has a better English dub than Japanese. (26 episodes, the series is finished) If you want something EVEN SHORTER I definitely recommend Cyberpunk Edgerunners. You get the deal, it’s another deep and well written anime (with Giancarlo, Gus’ actor from BB, voicing the main antagonist). (10 episodes, POTENTIALLY ONGOING)

Goob

Monster should definitely replace the Vinland Saga slot. But as far as what should replace Mob I would say "Mr. Tonegawa: Middle Management Blues". It's a small, insignificant, and unremarkable story about the struggles of a most remarkable man. If you ever saw Squid-Game, imagine a story about the team who had the arrange the games with Reigen in his late 50's as their team leader. The show will completely change your outlook on Power Point presentations.

Orr Malus

Bro... Made in Abyss is like the opposite of Mob or FMAB... you know what kind of scenes are present. Idk how much "happiness" they can get after watching those.

Sebox

idk if anyone has mentioned, but I think they should watch Cowboy Bebop

blitzman08

I think a shorter show would suit the one-a-week-slot quite well and I think you would love 86. It is only one season for now and it is quite self-contained for the fact there’s going to be more.

Alpi

Agreed. When I started reading the HXH manga, I was actually shocked how well-done and satisfying the ending of the anime was. The story in the manga sometimes feels like an epilogue, just a VERY nice bonus to a completed narrative.

Tony

Tossing my early vote in for Hunter X Hunter as the next show . That anime is something else, man.

Tony

Imagine Code Geass on the pole

Korin

As someone who has watched you guys since got and watched a ridiculous amount of anime, i think you guys should watch hunter hunter

Korin

Made in Abyss! It can give you happiness like these shows mentioned, and also it can get emotional like with Mob and FMA:B.

A

I think if you want to see a kinda wholesome show that’s finished I think that Haikyuu or HunterXHunter would be a good idea! There’s a lot of episodes you could watch and it’s really fun!

Joaquín Calderón

The manga isn’t, but the anime have an ending and it’s a nice one tbh

Joaquín Calderón

HxH is a finished story? Huh?

SupremeCai

Definitely follows well in the "too kind/good" boy footsteps of Ed, Al, and Mob. At least as far as the anime goes, heard some different things come down the line in the manga

Jed U

haikyuu , hxh , spyxfamily, jujutsu kaisen serotonin boost

sett4r

I’m surprised they haven’t done demon slayer yet. They would absolutely love Tanjiro lol

Elephantlogic

okay, now a comment about the show the post is actually about because this show and specially these last episodes deserve it. sibling bonds will always make me emotional and as the younger sibling i do feel ritsu to the bone, i have my sister on a pedestal and that scene made me sob. 100% rutsu, are you kidding me? that scene was perfect. the scene with sho and his dad was also beautiful and i'm glad even the side stories got the opportunity to have a closure. i get teary-eyed just thinking about the next episode. ps: on of my favourite things that are recurrent in the channel is lola randomly reminding us how much she despises light and you know, i'm with you. fuck light, the nastiest skank bitch i've ever met.

sand_fl

Hunter x Hunter anime is a complete finished story as far as I'm concerned. I felt compelled to say this because I know LM like shows that are done, and HxH is always talked about how it's manga is still ongoing so the anime is unfinished but it's a bit of a disservice because I think it makes people not want to watch it.

Antonio

well, just started watching the video and you discussed the shows for the poll, i havent watched hunter x hunter or haikyuu so no idea about them, though i'm not completely sure what a sports anime is, the only thing that comes to my mind is captain tsubasa (is that really the name in english, in spanish it's called oliver y benji so i had to google the name) because i watched it as a kid. i completely forgot about ranking of kings unting Jed U mentioned it, it's also a heartwarming one but same problem as spy x family then, only has one season out. i would LOVE jujutsu kaisen because season 2 is starting pretty soon and as a manga reader i know what's to come is good, but yeah, it has many characters you would adore but also has dark themes. overall i don't really mind what ends up winning, if it's something i've watched great, if not, i'll start it with you.

sand_fl

the episode next week had me crying like crazy. cant wait for you both to experience the finale :' )

Billyjoe

Best options for an occasionally sad but overall happy/hopeful anime that is similar to mob imo: -Ranking of Kings (1 season with a special episode coming later this year, fantasy world, some sadness but overall hopeful message with a new child for you to adopt) -Hunter x Hunter (a number of kids for you to adopt that starts cheerful but dives into darker themes similar to FMAB, also very long and not exactly finished with the manga recently starting up again) -Spy Family (1 season still airing, just a good time with mild action but more of a rom-com which would be new for you two as far as anime go) -Haikyuu (4 seasons with next season TBA, something new for you being a sports anime, but mostly wholesome fun to be had.) - Jujutsu Kaisen (1 season and 1 canon movie with season 2 coming later this year, a more mainstream anime or shonen with modern fantasy action, but has a fun cast of protagonists that you can find joy in, some serious moments though) -Demon Slayer (2 seasons with season 3 coming later this year, same reasons to watch as Jujutsu Kaisen) (I am not including Monster because it is not the joyful type of watch you are looking for. More of a psychological thriller/drama. Same for Your Lie In April, but that has more fun amidst a lot of sorrow and crying which doesn't fall in line with what you are looking for. Both could make good replacements for Vinland in another month or so though)

Jed U

just be sure to replace it with a show that also gives you happiness. only anime i've watched that could be that is spy x family, but i'm sure there's more fulfilling ones out there.

sand_fl

This is going to be the longest week of my life waiting for your finale reaction
