I lol'd when I came across a comment a while ago on a YouTube video that asked "Did we ever find out why the Wellick's are so creepy?" and the top answer was "They're Swedish" - so I guess seductive and creepiness is a Swedish trait :D In terms of her "boyfriend", that is the Bartender from the E Corp party the night Tyrell killed that woman (we seen him there so it's not a spoiler) - so make with that information how you wish :) Hope you're enjoying the show, and agree with you regarding Price scenes with Angela. Price is such an intriguing character, but I don't get that vibe of him trying to "try something with her" in a creepy manner, but I can see how that can portray across

2023-01-09 03:30:26 +0000 UTCi tried to listen to the video at 1.5 just out of curiosity and it was... unsetlling, i prefer normal speed 😂 milena is the personification of the meme "i'm into women that can kick my ass" and i respect that. darlene looks and dom's personality, not bad lol. tbh and i think ii've said this before the theory of elliot being in jail would never (well, maybe, but i dount it) have crossed my mind if you didn' mentioned it. if i wasn't watching along i'd probably have finished the show already so i wouldn't have time for theorising but still, seeing him in a jumpsuit would have made my head explode. now i was just expecting it to happen at some point. i'm constantly at the edge of my seat whenever angela and price are on screen together. i keep getting the feeling he's going to try something with her but he never does and it's making me nervous. at least then we would know why he's interested in her because there's definetly something there. i don't think it's just because she's good at her job. i hope they at least tell us who ray actually was in elliot's fantasy. probably a guard, but i'd still like to know. and of course why is he actually in jail. i do not think tyrell is dead, but with this show you never know. maybe he's really dead and he'll start being another allucination in elliot's mind as his father. lastly... i know joanna is a psycho and she's terrifying, but what can i say, that woman is gorgeous and i'm a bit into it lol though the s&m scenes make me really uncomfortable ngl. really curious about her plot with the boyfriend and the divorce. let's all pray for that baby to be able to grow up and be a normal person.

It also gives a ton of great insight into other aspects of Elliot's backstory and mind as well. Full recommendations to everyone enjoying the show

It's during that moment that Eliott realized he needed Mr Robot and when they finally made peace.

2023-01-08 07:43:28 +0000 UTCI agree, I really like the tired "I know" from Elliot when Krista asks him if he knows he hasn't been staying with his mother. And it makes perfect sense that the tension between Elliot and us/the audience/'friend' would come to a head in some way, as it had been mentioned with the final S1 episodes and the S2 premiere. I was so disappointed in Elliot when watching this scene for the first time and he went "I promise I won't lie to you from now on, let's trust each other again" like buddy why do you do this You might not believe this, but yes people who watch the show in the format that you do tend to not see the twist coming at all. Unless someone was watching S2 weekly and engaging in the online discussions (in which case it was a popular theory from the very first episode), they probably had no idea. Also this is barely related but I wanted to find a way to mention this moment: Speaking of the relationship dynamics between Elliot and his psyche, man the shot of Mr Robot holding Elliot in the dungeon as he's injured on the floor hits me right in the heart. Even more than them hugging at the end of last episode

XD Also S2 Ep8 is a contender for my favorite episode of the season so really excited for the next one. Hell, S1's reveals have Elliot accuse us of knowing the whole time (which many did). It's a fun way to keep people engaged both who know the twists are coming and those who don't. By the way Sam Esmail whilst he was working on this show also directed another one called Homecoming - the directorial tricks he uses in later seasons on Mr Robot he really crafted there, at some point in the future you should really consider reacting to it, I think you'll like it. Also the early parts of the season are absolutely loaded to bursting with clues where he is, it's funny watching back - bars on almost every single window, bunch of clues in Krista's office and some other things. The whole thing is like a magic show, misdirection is everywhere :)
