Band of Brothers Episode 6 Full Reaction

Comments

Thanks for the reaction. I knew Cajuns growing up in SE Texas near the Louisiana border. I also lived in Louisiana a few years and became friends with several Cajuns, some from the heart of Cajun country (in Louisiana) whose parents spoke broken English.

Fun fact: The Americans actually did respond to the German surrender demands with NUTS. lol

I second this. Once they catch up to Vinland and it becomes weekly they should fill the open slot with The Last of Us since it’s also weekly.

if you go 1.04 speed on VLC on the video, you'll be synced up enough to watch. You can enable View > Status Bar on VLC to see the speed on a bar at the bottom and slightly move it up. Your version will still be slightly ahead of the reaction by some frames and you'll have to resync a few times, but it's watchable and easier (for me at least) than the alternative solutions

Kara

1.04 (still gets very slightly out of speed) on vlc

I keep trying to sync up the reaction but judging from the sound alone it seems like their video is a bit sped up. Been using HBO Max to watch.

Bro they get 1 video a week and most of the times is kinda random when it get's posted... if they ever "spam" (wich I have never seen) would be more than understandable

KP, my guy, you are unrationally upset. People requesting an update over an unmet schedule should not make you so angry that you have to liken people to cancer of all things. None of the anger you perceive is on display by anyone but you. Take a breath and relax.

TeddyBearBonfire

It really crept up on me lol, in my mind I feel like it's still like 6 months away but damn it's really here. I hope it's good. I love both games so much to the point I'm unironically holding out for them to somehow experience it even though I don't think either of them are gamers XD But I hope the show doesn't mess up that first experience of the story, because man is it great

tom

I don't see a single instance of an "angry" Band of Brothers fan under any of the LM videos. Just genuine follow up questions to the loose schedule L&M put up a few days ago.

PongPong31

Could you please provide an example of any Band of Brothers fans here being "angry" or "spamming", please? And if any of us were (we weren't), why exactly does it bother you that much? Just ignore it and let us be the "losers" :)

Andrew

yo that would be so cool seeing someone react to the show who hasn't played the game (at least i'm assuming they haven't). from what I've heard and seen, I'm sure they'd enjoy it.

KP

last of us comes out this week on hbo, hope you react to that after this

Renée Lemaire was a real person and her life story is very tragic. She was born in Bastogne but moved to Brussels in her 20's to work as a nurse. When the Germans occupied Belgium her fiancée who was a Jew got arrested by Gestapo and she never saw him again. After the Americans had liberated Belgium and moved forward into liberating the rest of Western Europe she decided to visit her parents in Bastogne who she hadn't seen since the start of the war. However, she got trapped there when Germans launched its Ardennes offensive. She and another woman Augusta Chiwy (in the show they call her Anna - she survived the siege and died in 2015) volunteered as nurses at an American aid station. "She changed dressings, fed patients unable to feed themselves, gave out medications, bathed and made the patients more comfortable" - Battalion Surgeon Dr. Jack T. Prior. She died at the age of 30 when the Germans bombed the building where the aid station was located. According to a column in a Belgian newspaper, the aid station in the basement of the Sarma Store on rue de Neufchateau was demolished. Lemaire managed to evacuate six soldiers from the burning building, but died while attempting to save a seventh wounded. Dr. Prior recovered her remains, and brought them back to her parents wrapped in a white parachute. For her bravery and unflinching heroism shown in treating the wounded the soldiers gave her a nickname "Angel of Bastogne".
