A character whose sole purpose is to create tension whenever the author has a block or the plot is getting too dull and predictable. It's a truly unique and genius idea.

2023-01-16 13:47:01 +0000 UTClast night i watched both this and the me robot reaction and let me tell you that i've had enough of seeing people peeing. they really didn't need to show the fucking stream 💀 i agree with milena ngl, i always loved the scene of canute realising what love is or isn't and i've always enjoyed a religious character struggling with their beliefs, but yes, seeing canute like this always makes me a bit sad. yes, it's great to see him having the bravery to face his father and even mock him, but he shouldn't have to and it's sad that he lost his innocence when ragnar died. yes, he was immature but he was a child and he deserved to keep that innocence intact. but i also understand that being from the royal family meant that the only options were that he changed like he did or die.

2023-01-16 11:18:20 +0000 UTCEh, I don’t really think it’s a “getting his shit together” as much as it’s paying off what he’s been establishing with the first act of the story. The first two arcs imo do an amazing job at laying the foundation for whats to come and maybe that’s only obvious in retrospect. I do agree that both the manga and 99 anime do a better job at telling the beginning of the story than 2011 but I still enjoyed it nonetheless (although maybe I am biased since I grew up watching the 99 version)

2023-01-16 07:40:48 +0000 UTCI speculated a while back on the delays and it appears I was correct. They're not exactly keen on watching shows that are so emotionally draining for them. Not to mention having to go through them twice over for the edited versions. So, it's to be expected for delays to happen and I don't blame them. They are not the intended audience for HxH so I'm definitely expecting delays. Though to be fair, they'll probably get bored with HxH instead of traumatized like it's the case with BoB. The first season of HxH is a total snooze-fest.

Doesn’t ruin the experience at all. I hope they watch it because it wasn’t half against and half for. It was more like the vast majority for watching it.
