damn it hit me too out of nowhere while watching it with them just now. I don't even fully remember it the first time.

2023-01-25 09:41:06 +0000 UTCI don't think Bjorn's death hit me as hard the first time as it hit me this time around. It made a couple of tears fall. And it's my fourth watch. This show is so good.

2023-01-19 18:44:11 +0000 UTCWhat sticks with me about this death, the 'you're my only friend, Bjorn' bit would on the surface be a bit melodramatic and sappy. But that one second flashback of Bjorn looking at Askeladd's back, as if in his final moments he has this revelation that; oh I was just a follower, the secondary character in someone else's story. It's just so deeply existentially upsetting to me for some reason, that one still makes all the difference.
