Relax sand, a bunch of people in a comment section who happen to have opinions you don't also have isn't a "toxic fandom". You don't know any of these people behind the screens. It's a new show and everyone's excited, it's early on and everyone wants to comment about so many things, especially if they've watched it before. You probably also have things you think that people would heavily disagree with. Nothing is objectively true and everyone is different.

Yea, @sand_fl it unfortunately is. On a happier note, it usually means that the show is good and you just ignore half of what everyone says 😅

i mean Hunter x Hunter is as shounen as it gets. Its literally a genre mainly targeted towards young men. Very few shounen have good or any decent female cast. JJK is more mature and modern than HxH so it has a more developed cast. The main characters for this show are literally 12 years old.

I hope the toxic parts of the fandom don’t ruin your enjoyment of it too much, although imo if you’ve survived the Attack on Titan fandom (especially during s4) than you can survive any fandom lol

ok, so this is that kind of show with a toxic fandom... got it. i enjoyed the episode but i also wish it had more female characters. that's definetly one of the things i wish in most of the animes i've watched. i'd say jujutsu kaisen is probably one of the few i've seen with many female characters but even then it's maily male centric (though maki is still the best character in the whole anime/manga for me so that's a win i guess) gon is adorable, let's hope he keeps being like that for all one hundred and something episodes.
