anybody caught up on the manga and confirm that Ging actually becomes better? Bc if we going off what we see in the anime, he sucks lol

Idk man I think it's clear that they're well aware their views on both Ging's abandonment of Gon and Gon's desire for fighting or whatever are different from Gon's. I don't see how you think they're projecting their feelings onto Gon. And the show paints Gon has having weird perspectives on things, you're obviously supposed to like him and sympathize with him, but I don't think you're meant to agree with how he sees things really.

If Cutty was 12 they might have felt the same way during the wire. Also the show strongly hints at Gon losing control, mostly from Wing. I think that has a lot to do with it because they never really worry about Killua like that and he has killed.

But they're not actually empathizing with him as they're not taking his feelings into account they're just taking their own feelings if they were in his position. Thats why all the "fighting is bad and concerning" stuff misses the mark. You'd think that the boxing gym arc with cutty from the wire would make them a bit more open to the upsides of it as a sport/discipline. Not any more concerning than wanting to play rugby or something.

I think it’s about how much one can emphatise with Gon. As much as HxH is unpredictable the girls actually caught on pretty fast onto the fact that Ging’s absence is something very crucial when it comes to who Gon is and his actions (iykyk).

OMG! Attack on Titan, premiere, November 4, 2023! I can't wait to see your reaction! I'm very sorry to post this comment on another anime, but I wanted to know if you girls already knew about the release date.

Yeah I mean these are the two training arcs basically so it makes sense. I do feel I generally see more people disappointed with Greed Island than Heaven's Arena, and I feel like it has to do with the placement (soon after the exam vs. in between the two biggest arcs) and the villain being pretty generic and underdeveloped. There's a sense of "ah man we just had the Phantom Troupe and now we gotta deal with this bozo and learn new terms?" But yeah personally I love it for those same reasons, it really shifts the focus onto Gon and Killua and where they're at mentally and in terms of ability.

Damn dude even Gon thought about it more deeply than that. It is an anime though so we have been conditioned to accept absentee parents.

Yay, something not negative about Ging. I remember thinking from the beginning that he's just a really cool adventurer. Oh, he's an absent and selfish father? Ok, fine. Moving on. For some reason that just never bothered me. Maybe it should have?

I'm not so sure about that, usually it's greed island or hunter exam

I pronounce it 'biss-ket' This 'cuit' part is funny the way Lola says it. It's alright you can just call her Bisky for the rest of the show. She goes by Bisky anyway.

I don’t really think greed island is considered the worst arc in the show, usually heaven’s arena is what bottoms most people’s lists.

I actually think the greed island arc is a bit underrated, probably not as plot dense as other arcs but it’s good fun and I love just seeing gon and killua being friends😂 Although it’s hard to compare to the other great arcs in this show

So basically, when you use Hatsu on the game console it uses Nen to teleport the Player to Greed Island, another real place in the real world. No digital world or parallel universe.

I think the Greed Island being real thing is simpler than what you were thinking.
The game is just putting physical real people on a physical real island where they're playing a real game made with Nen. The Troupe coming in could kill players and monsters and players and monsters could try to kill the troupe, they just cant use the Book or cards. There's no parallel universe (anyone ever seen that one Mario64 video).

Jaken - Evil Fist, from the explanation of ancient martial arts & rock paper scissors supposedly.

There's probably a different word for it in Serbian. Or maybe the word is exactly the same and everyone over there says it like Lola.
Edit: Just started watching the video and yeah that's how they say it in Serbian pretty much.

Happy to announce that you've both graduated from Nen school! With the introduction of nen after death, shu, ko and ryu we're finally done with all the "basics" of nen.
It's such a small detail, but love how they show Killua's analytical skills are better than Gon's through having Gon be ever so slightly off on how much power Killua was using with ryu.
