Because abusers are often charming, making everyone think how great they are, but so different in private, where they let themselves be cruel, such that people won’t often believe the victims or think they’re exaggerating. Such a well done film. I mean even y’all were like, well what if she is just schizo?

2022-10-25 00:16:26 +0000 UTCThe pacing and technical production of this movie is so good. Such a chilling concept that may feel all too real to people who may have experienced encounters like this. I love that they emphasize strength, empathy, and give audiences more of an understanding of how unsettling that can be through Cecilia’s POV. Additionally, it also goes to show how some people in society who are well known like Adrian may use their degrees, doctorates, achievements, status, public image, etc. as masks and are just as capable of this type of horrific behavior as anyone else.
