And even this is still slightly censored compared to the manga. They still show them crumbling when initially touched for the anime version but then don't censor the aftermath. In the manga, you get to see them spraying blood everywhere. It's so brutal. It's because when the show airs overseas, it shows during a time when children could potentially be watching. So they censor it just in case.

2023-02-02 20:12:20 +0000 UTCIn the manga, the way decay works is that it just cracks things and turns them almost to โdustโ. So the grey sandy effect in the anime is to sensor his quirk a bit, since the result actually looks like how his dog died.
