I can see from both sides of Marina and Penelope. Even though, it's sad that Marina has to deceive Colin. Colin doesn't deserve that thrusted upon him. Even though, Penelope is being a bit selfish, but I know she wants to look out for her friend and at the same time stop the engagement of a guy she loves.

I like Marina and I get why she’s doing what she’s doing but I‘m team Penn. At the end of the day Colin is very important to Penelope, and Eloise is her best friend. She’s known the Bridgertons for forever. Why would she ever be okay with Marina tricking him like that. I don’t think Penelope is in the wrong.

This whole episode had me so conflicted!! Especially the Marina situation! I feel for her and can see that she’s only trying to do what she thinks is best for her and her baby, but then again, it’s just so unfair to Colin. Hence why I can see where Penelope is coming from. Then there’s the Simon and Daphne situation. While I understand she’s annoyed by Simon’s trickery between “can’t” and “won’t,” I feel like all of this could be resolved if Simon just told her the truth and admitted what he said to his Father and why he doesn’t want kids! Not sure how to feel about the last scene between Daphne and Simon. Mainly bc of consent... I know she knew nothing about sex before him and wanted to test a theory, but what she did was not okay!!! Like girl, what are you doing!! 😭😩

I think to me it's just very obvious that it isn't okay so I didn't even say anything in my original comment And as far as Marina, did we forget how many men were courting her or whatever ?? Like did she not have over like 30 men at their house at one time? So NOW she gets to decide "what's best for her child" at the expense of everyone else?? I'm sorry but no, not okay. A couple of things for this episode 1. This episode was VERY controversial when the show came out because of the whole “forced/non consensual conception” thing. And that’s very valid. 2. I like to call BS when Simon said “I thought you knew how a child came to be”. Homegirl didn’t even know what masturbation was, knew ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about sex PERIOD. So it does not follow that she would know how conceiving a child works. Horseshit. Love this reaction tho👏🏾👏🏾

yeah that last scene with daphne and simon was just rough to watch. although she may not know exactly why, she's wrong for doing what she did (however i can understand her emotions, but yeah). but on a lighter note the "does it hurt when you do that?" made me laugh so much💀💀
