I know our Joon Hyung can sound like a jerk just a little bit because of the nickname. Believe me, he’s not trying to bully her, chubs/fatty was her nickname when she was a kid, it was cute back then and he’s just silly so he really thinks he can call her that way just because they were kinda friends when they were younger. Also, we all know as a woman we don’t want to be called like that, but he’s just clueless, doesn’t think it’s a bad nickname. “Eat a lot” in korea is the same as “enjoy your meal”, he wasn’t being a jerk there, that’s just something you say when people are eating, but I know because there’s no cultural explanation it can be misunderstood. And him not paying because he was “trying to make her rest” 🤣 That was actually so dumb, I know, but he was really trying to be nice to her but he didn’t want to be obvious about it. I know Joon Hyung can be easily misunderstood (I also thought he was a jerk the first time) he’s actions with other people are nice and cute, but with her… he’s just silly and childish, you’ll get to know him better in the future, but he’s just a nice person with a very dumb side when he’s with her; for some reason that he even doesn’t know talking to her, being silly and childish to her feels just natural to him, it’s the way he feels it’s right to approach her. A behavior that he can’t control when he’s around her. And you can tell he only talks to her this way, he’s this dumb and silly just to her. You’ll get to know him and like him with time :) he’s the cutest.
