It was just a suggestion. I wasn't forcing them to change their format for my preference. I also don't see how just showing the bottom part of the video 'loses impact of the reaction' compared to not showing the video at all..?

I don't like that. I watch for the reaction with the full video and just showing the bottom part of the video loses the impact of the reaction. If you like to skim, then that's on you. Doesn't mean they should change the format to fit your preference

I just started watching the glory as well and I didn’t catch the watch thing, so I didn’t know how to connect this random guy to the plot. but it makes sense since she really doesn’t have friends, except for that one girl. so I wondered why she would run so happily to this random guy when we’ve never seen their story. now it makes sense

if you are confused about the teacher that was hitting her back then, son. I think the part where she just got out of class and runs pass the guy (the guy she’s plays the game with) and go to the other guy, I think that guy is that guy’s son. she probably has a plan to get to his dad

Also, the iron thing was based on a real story - she talked about iron torture on the national television - but the rest (teachers, school and others-rich people or relationship) was based on fiction. It is exaggerated to be more dramatic. As far as i know she did not exactly report it to the police or school back then. I do feel awful that anyone had to go through it.

Obv there are murders in every country but we are talking about school bullying in particular the things that happened in this show is a real account of someone’s life a person that actually lives in SKorea it’s not that exaggerated because it’s based on a true life story.

Not every school tho, There are murder cases in every countries in the world too

Is it possible for you guys to show just the bottom part of the video with the subtitles? I often like to skim through reactions to watch certain parts of the episode and so would have to resync each time with this current format but with the subtitles on the screen I won't need a reference video. Understandable if you guys can't do it that way though

you can still get copyright on patreon. that's why they changed it, their previous full watchalongs were still getting copyright

Can someone please explain why they are doing sync watchalong and not doing a uncut reaction? I just signed up for there patreon and I thought that patreon would not have issues with copyrights. I follow about 5 other patreon reaction channels that are watching the same shows but are not doing sync watchalong. I'm just confused and the sync watchalong is not working for me on my phone

I personally feel like the time remaining time stamp helps a ton in making sure im at the same time as them since netflix only shows us how much time is left. So if there is 40 min left their time stamp will be at 40 minutes. Idk, I have had to pause multiple times and had slow internet that made it freeze, and I was able to go to the correct time thanks to the time stamp! However, I do agree with you about the count down part, that would be great.

I personally think that the time remaining timer is soooo much better so I am super grateful you guys are doing that now, it genuinely made syncing so much easier! With the new changes you made I actually find it very easy to sync compared to other people I have supported on patreon. Thank you guys for listening to all of the feedback!

Ended up having to sync by taking cues from their comments while watching. Still half unsure if we're on the exact same points in a scene while watching. Maybe besides time stamps, they could cut in and out of scenes similar to the YT version. At least there will be specific times we can check the syncing.

the syncing was hell guys. If we have to do it this way (which I understand even if not ideal) can we at least make sure the time code is correct? also it would help if we at least get to see the first 30 seconds together so that we can all make sure we're starting it at the same time. I really appreciate your commentary and your open minds that's why I'm here but I just think watching a reaction we pay for shouldn't ask such effort from our part. hope it goes more smoothly next time :)

Hey guys. Appreciate that you're trying this format instead and I'm enjoying the reactions. Unfortunately, when there are issues with Internet access or something else that interrupts whatever method we're using for one of the playbacks (either of your reaction or of the show), it's hard to get things synced again properly...especially if it happens more than once. That aside, I think it would also help if before you press play initially, you count down with 3, 2, 1 or similar so we can at least get the initial syncing done properly. I think the timecode for this episode wasn't correct either so I had to sync mine just by what I could see and hear. Hope this feedback helps you.

Episode 3 , there is a flashback with important details well the entire episode is just full of details an important episode in my opinion just a heads up!! Please learn the character names or you'll be a little confused during the flashbacks.

Yeon-Jin - Is the main bully , she became a weather forecaster and she is the one that married and had the little girl. She had sex with Jae-Jun right before she got married to her husband. Her husband was not one of the bullies he does not know about her dark past. Jae-Jun- He is the one that had sex with Yeon-Jin in the back of his store before she got married. He inherited the Golf course and that store, Myeong-O does all of his errands and chores, Myeong-O also drives Jae-Jun around that is why Jae-Jun got mad when he found out that he gets high because it could potentially be dangerous driving high. Myeong-O - Is the guy with long hair and tattoo on his neck; the one that forcefully kissed Dong-Eun when they were younger. He is basically an errand boy for Jae-Jun and he sells drugs to Sa-Ra. Sa-Ra - Is the one that buys drugs from Myeong-O, she is an artist and her dad is a pastor (that one scene from ep 1, when Yeon-Jin and Hye-Jeong was being disrespectful in the white t-shirts). Hye-Jeong - Is a flight attendant that is lowkey just trying to fit in with her wealthy friends and just be better than them. She has a crush on Jae-Jun that is why she was jealously clapping when he was staring at Yeon-Jin on her wedding day. Jae-Jun, Sa-Ra, and Yeon-Jin were born wealthy. Hye-Jeong and Myeong-O are not that is why they are treated so poorly in the entire friend group.
