2023-02-25 22:28:21 +0000 UTCok i'm finally watching this, its my favorite AHHHH and i'm so excited, i love edgar wright's movies. they're all in his specific style and they're so entertaining. i might be a little bit of a fangirl but i swear he puts something in his movies no one else does π there is so much going on in this movie, i forgot what it's like to watch it for the first time LOL. dude scott kinda sucks, poor knives man :( she's young and a bit overly excited but she's still too good for scott hahaha honestly i don't care how 'bad' the shirt is, i would be honored someone cares enough to make a shirt for my band π gosh i had such a crush on ramona, she's way too cool for scott too lol i love the music in this movie too, it's so good and funny. like tell me why i unironically love garbage truck π dude and the fights in this movie are amazing. sorry this whole comment is just me fangirling over this movie i guess LOL "it's almost like it's scott pilgrim..vs..the world..π" BRYCE PLS π€£ "he just left!" part always gets me, it's one of my favorite parts too rob, it's too good. i also love knives' little hair dyeing montage, i quote it sometimes and black sheep by metric, a banger idc what anyone says THEY'VE BOTH NEVER SEEN AVATAR?!??!? i'm so glad they all kinda redeem themselves by the end of the movie, and we end up liking all of them π₯° hopefully bryce and zuff can rewatch it another time now that they know what to expect xD ok lastly I do think the guys would all really like other edgar wright movies, they've already seen last night in soho, which they enjoyed. i'm not sure which others they've seen, but i think they'd love shaun of the dead, baby driver, hot fuzz etc. ππ (maybe i'm slightly biased because I love them but idkπ€)

Scott Pilgrim vs the World is directed by Edgar Wright who also directed the classic movies Hot Fuzz & Shaun of the Dead. Both are great thriller/comedy movies to watch if you guys ever need ones to add to your list - the films star Simon Pegg and Nick Frost as well as a bunch of other amazing British actors! (they also have a similar editing style and it works really well with the thriller genre!)

I was never huge on this one, but it is super funny and definitely iconic even before taking into account all the memes it spawned. The one with the refrigerator magnets, the "that's actually hilarious", and then "bi-furious" are still in regular rotation I've seen, and as you guys discussed there are also more. 3. I'm so sorry, but Michael Cera is not in Zombieland π That would be Jesse Eisenberg. (They are mixed up so often by people, though, and it's funny every time). 4. This cast is so good. Don't know if you guys remembered but the actor who plays Neil is also in Jennifer's Body and Perks of Being a Wallflower. Mae Whitman, who played Evil Ex Roxy, was also in Perks. 5. All of you were so on point with the commentary on this absolute mind fuck of a movie. This is up there with Rubber and Donnie Darko for me on movies that will make you spend most of their runtime going "what the fuck is happening??"
