That friend group doing crazy shit is what makes the show for me. IHuge Jiara fan here and I like the way it's being handled, tbh. JJ is the sort of character that would go into self-sabatoge mode anytime anything really good flows in his direction. It's realistic for his character, but it makes me sad. Glad Kiara understands why he's doing what he's doing, though.

2023-03-01 04:27:54 +0000 UTCIt was obvious JJ was crushing on Kie for awhile, he literally admitted in the first episode that he tried to get with her before but now that Kie reciprocates those feelings I think that scares him and so he’s pushing her away because he’s known to self sabotage.

He came home to absolutely nothing and no one. He's poor and feels like he can't offer her anything. I think it's easier to flirt and say you're joking than to actually confront that he has feelings for her because it means he has to put himself out there The next few episodes are my faves, I enjoyed them a ton.
