someone probably already said this but drugs are very illegal in korea that is why sara was so worried about myungo (her dealer) being reported to the police, people in korea can go to jail and have their reputation ruined just bcos of weed - and she is doing a lot more than that

I don't think Dong Eun wants Mrs. Kang to go to jail or kill her husband herself. She just thinks her daughter is better off being away from her abusive father and a mother who is ultimately willing and CAPABLE of conspiring to commit murder. Dong-Eun has often stated that she knows what she is doing is wrong and will send her to hell (though she goes back and forth contemplating its existence), but she still is willing to do it because she believes they deserve it (and they really do).

yes! to piggyback on what you said as well, it also shows the shaman being susceptible to bribes/power too. shamans are supposed to use their insight and knowledge to help people fulfill their best possible outcome, but she "matched" the girl with the cop knowing full well he's married, his history, etc. it kinda just adds another piece of "fucked" to this show, and definitely paints a picture of how people will do whatever it takes for money, and keep relationships with people in power (yeon-jin's mom and the chief of police)

So excited for your reaction to part 2! To shine a little light on the scene with the cop and the girl in the motel, the shaman matched them together for them to "get rid of bad energy". It's not really important or relevant and I think it was just a scene to show a little more depth of the cop's corruptness since he's a married man and like how we've seen him use thugs to do illegal things for him.

Hey Bryce heads up there's an upcoming drama with both actresses Song Hye Kyo(Dong Eun) and Han So Hee(Ji Woo). Two legendary icons together in a drama, can't wait for that.
