This show does such a good job of highlighting major problems in the education system while making it entertaining. It’s surprising how realistic this show actually is, i can relate the a majority of episodes with similar experiences.

(It also has one of the best series finales of any show ever). You’re right about how it covered a lot of important topics but it was sharply written so it never once felt like the audience was being preached to. The show’s a guaranteed good time and I would be ecstatic if they ever chose to react to it.

2023-04-02 01:04:29 +0000 UTCWhen I watched the pilot by myself I didn't enjoy it much since comedy sitcoms and mockumentaries are really not my preferred genre of TV shows, but after rewatching it with you and especially after seeing the 2nd episode, I'm surprisingly hooked way more than I thought I would be!

2023-04-02 00:59:29 +0000 UTCi thought the office was one of my favorite shows but then i saw superstore and it took that crown. i reccomend that one to y'all too. it does the same thing i'm seeing here, it sneaks in some really important things while still being a good comedy. that's what i makes superstore so special to me and i'm finding i'm really enjoying that with abbott as well! it takes genuine heart to be able to do that without coming across as too "preachy" or "after school special." it comments on real issues in such a well done way. i'm looking forward to the next episode

I definitely thought it would lose in the polls but I’m so happy it didn’t because it’s so good. It only gets better from here so I love that you guys are enjoying it. Great reaction
