Yea that’s true, I like that a lot about the show. However, as a woman I feel more for Lucia and Mia. Albie selling out his mom and the way he acted with Portia in the beginning made him lose more points in my book compared to if I wasn’t a woman looking through the women’s POV.

Yeah, there were lots of forshadowing that you notice when you rewatch the season. I think in the first episode, Tanya makes a comment about someone falling over to their death.

Yeah, I dont feel bad for him. He's complicated, he thinks he is a nice guy but he has that view of women that he needs to save a woman. I was worried he was gonna go full incel but he was cool about it and looks like giving Portia a second chance.

Some very subtle foreshadowing to Tanya's death - In episode 3, Portia is at The Godfather filming location with the Di Grasso family. She stands next to the car that blows up in the movie with the mannequin Apollonia in it while on the phone with Tanya. Tanya is wearing the exact same dress as the mannequin in the last episode before she dies.

I agree! When Tanya overheard Greg on the phone, he said, "She's oblivious as usual". I also love the little detail where she mentions how Portia stole her medication to Quentin in this last episode. That line single handedly shows she is way more aware than most people give her credit for. We all just assumed she had no idea Portia took some pills from her bathroom while Tanya was getting her fortune read, but she did and just never said anything to Portia about it.

The only thing that i didn't like about this season is that the tarot reader basicly just spoiler the fact that tanya would die ( at least for all the italian speacker)

it's insane to me that ethan had to have sex with daphne in order to be like "ykw i'm gonna have sex with my wife for once" like dawg if i was married to aubrey plaza i'd be going crazy fr, he was fumbling for far too long. idk just the whole "our marriage is saved bc we manipulated each other and cheated" is just 😬😬😬 (plus it probably isn't even saved anyway). also tanya falling off the boat had me in tears like how tf did she manage to swan dive directly on to the metal railings💀💀

I love that Bryce said “that would be such a Tanya way to go out” a second before she goes out in the most Tanya way. In fact, if you stay for that HBO post episode Director Commentary, Mike White says how it was a hard decision to make but the second season was essentially Tanya’s journey / travel to death, and how if he was going to kill off one of his favorite (if not, EVERYONE’S favorite character) he had to have her exit with some sort of John Wick, practically unrealistic ass victory but albeit she had to die in the most “derpy death” because it is Tanya, after all 💀😅

The boat scene is by far one of my favourite scenes in White Lotus. Ive replayed "do you know these gays? do you know these gays?!" etc so many times just because Coolidges delivery on this absurd scene is so amazing.

Yeah and its also funny bc I think Greg and the gays got so much enjoyment out of how clueless and dumb they thought Tanya was, just for her to figure it all out, out smart them, and kill them. She would’ve won too had she just took the stairs instead of jumping off the railing but I digress.🥴

I actually am so happy about how Lucia and Mia’s storyline ended. I also don’t feel bad for Albie because he’s not a good person. He literally sold out his mom for money, knowing that she listens to him. He likes to pull the nice guy card but I knew since the beginning that something was off with him

I’m so glad y’all watched this, I love this season, it’s literally my favorite show. Omg when this ep first premiered I was literally on the EDGE of my bed, I was so sick about Tanya. And man all the memes on Twitter that night! 😩 What a time! Also love all the women this season. Lucia and Mia literally RAN that hotel, it’s theirs now lmfaooo. I also really liked the actor who played Ethan and his performance. I love Evan Peters but I gotta say Ethan’s actor bodied this role. But It’s just so crazy how popular this show got after season 2, bc I was already a big fan of season 1, so it was nice to finally see my fave show get the recognition it deserved! Anyways I loved the reactions, so happy y’all enjoyed it! ❤️

so ethan’s whole thing when he was talking about memetic desire and going off on cam was basically what he was experiencing, he didn’t want his wife until he thought cameron found her desirable

Also I love how things are left a little ambiguous in this show. Like we'll probably never know everything that happened with Harper/Cameron and Daphne/Ethan and we just have to assume how much they each did or didn't do - great way to really keep the show in the audiences mind.

Daphne is the most together character this season. She knows herself and she's okay with who she is. Also, am I exaggerating, or did Zuff basically say that every single character was going to die in every episode LOL

I personally don't actually think that Harper did anything, I feel like she just recreated Ethan's story and had Cam lie and go along w it bc she played games like Daphne said. I think the Ethan was the only one who actually cheated for the first time, but it worked and he became attracted to her again so in the end it works....for now.

I don't think Greg is gay -- Quentin said he was in love with a cowboy but the cowboy was straight but regardless he would still do anything for him even after all this time. So I think Greg is just manipulative and convinced Quentin to do it cuz he knew Quentin loved him and he told him he'd give him money which he desperately needs. And Greg actually is back in the US I think. Like Tanya said he needed an alibi for her death so he's not suspected. But I'm hoping Portia tells someone what happened and Greg gets nothing and goes to jail. Hopefully the friend who stayed back and didn't go on the boat with them also tells. It looks like he got a conscience in the end since he was crying and that's why he didn't go with them back on the boat cuz he liked Tanya and didn't want to kill her.

At least Albie and Portia both had good sex and an adventure on vacation. Even though Jack wasn't great at least he didn't take 50K from her, Albie got screwed way worse. She's also not missing that much being with Albie since he's a dick too but I think it's funny how they got back together. Lucia, Mia, Valentina, and Harper having happy endings made me smile

LOL if you go back and watch the scene when Quentin is explaining the opera to Tanya, that's literally what happens to her. Mike White wanted to kill off his glamorous diva like character in true Italian fashion like out of an opera or classic film. It's silly but I think it's perfectly melodramatic and very fitting. Now you can look up the plot of L'Avventura it's a mystery about a woman who goes missing while on a glamorous vacation with her friends. The friends have everything but they're bored and lack meaningful relationships like the couples on this trip.
