2023-06-02 05:33:03 +0000 UTCi agree, i feel like if it was anyone else who reported it first it would have been negatively biased against yu-rim. and we kinda saw a glimpse of that before the news officially broke out when yi-jin overheard his co-workers already talking crap on yu-rim. and that's when we see yi-jin immediately rushing over to yu-rim for an explanation. so, when yi-jin reported it, it was honest but vague and left up for everyone's interpretation which is inventible. its just an overall sucky situation for everyone :(

2023-06-02 04:31:09 +0000 UTCI think Yi-Jin thought it would be better if he released the news first because he would be the one that would be able to release the true facts of why she was doing it. Granted people would have called Yu-rim a traitor regardless just for the fact that she was changing her nationality no matter the reason but if the first reporter released fake news or spun it in a more negative way then that would spread and would made Yu-rim look even worse. That’s how I saw it. Thank you for the reactions :)
