Will these always be watchalongs? Is there any way to know ahead of time which series will be watchalongs and not edited reactions? I want to support you guys, but so far it looks like the content I signed up for is just watchalongs and with work/travel I can’t always queue up the episode with the reaction.

someone can correct me if i'm wrong, but i think they stopped doing that a few months ago because of copyright reasons, which is hard but i understand. i'd rather them not get in trouble. i don't know if it's the same for kdramas but that's my understanding anyway, that it's because of copyright

y'all need to watch midnight runners. its kinda the inverse of this drama- park seo joon goes to the police academy to become a cop! its such a funny movie but w very serious notes/issues. highly recommend

The Itaewon Class uploads are every other day so they will be minimum 3 times a week with every other week having 4! The only reason for 2 this week was because we started posting on Friday

she has some of my favorite character growth and also actualization. she said it in the beginning, "i can't be like you or your dad". She wanted a comfortable life where she wouldn't have to worry about finances and having a hard time unnecessarily. Why are you blaming someone for that? Especially someone who had already suffered so much at that point. She worked hard for a good education and to get in to her favorite school. Not everyone in life is going to be a perfect mary sue and make all the right decisions or have the best moral standing. that's actually why i love this show so much and why i think it's definitely made for a more mature audience who have life experience under their belt. every one of these characters is flawed in some way and everyone of these characters show significant growth throughout the show. no one is perfect, even though we like to pretend saeroyi is. i think it makes the characters that much more endearing and their successes that much more great.

i can empathize with her. she was a poor orphan who watched the only people she cared about suffer as a result of them also having less money than someone else. she has a survival mode mindset and sees society as a man-eat-man world, so she'd obviously see money as a number one priority and take advantage of these grand opportunities
