2023-06-13 01:41:42 +0000 UTCAs important as the Jamie speech at the end is for his character development, the conversation with Keeley also gives some good background. Having him grow up in a council estate (low-income/public housing) is a nice touch by the writers and helps explain his attitude. He's had to fight hard for everything he's achieved and that, combined with the obvious impact of his father, puts him on the offensive in all of his interactions. It's such a blow to see him gone right when he's just started to let go of the dickish shell.
