I think that moment also demonstrates that Prissy understands the girls look up to her and not only is she deciding her own life, but showing Anne, Diana, Ruby, etc. that they have agency in deciding their futures.

I love the moment between the girls and the snowball fight. It shows their age and innocence… they should just be young children while they still are.
