2023-06-15 01:40:30 +0000 UTCI think the writers hinted that she was basically done for a while before even deciding on the divorce. She was mentally out of the marriage, so to her, the papers were the last thing that needed to get done. Ted is such a sweet guy that it makes you hate Michelle, but in reality, I can understand her wanting to get it over with. Also, there are 10 episodes that are supposed to cover the entire football season (August to May). I think some time has actually passed but it doesn't seem like it to the viewer.

2023-06-14 23:40:38 +0000 UTCIt always bothered me how Ted’s wife was rushing the divorce papers…like, they just reached that agreement 2 seconds ago and she was willing to keep trying until Ted let her go very recently. Suddenly it’s like “we need this done right this second” while he’s at an away game, etc. I get that cutting the cord is probably better done quickly, but it just felt like a sudden expedite of ending it on her side in my opinion.
