Itaewon Class Episode 6 Cut/Uncut Reaction!

Comments

I think that the significance of Saeroyi's investements all comes down to the power struggle currently happening within Jangga. We've already established that Kang Min-Jung owns part of the company totalling in at 25% when adding in her supporters shares as well. The Jangga boss has already been on edge clearly indicating that the 25% is already a threat in of itself so an increase is the last thing he wants to happen. Though Saeroyi is not a major shareholder, his (and other shareholder) support is crucial in determining which side will end up on top. It's obvious that Saeroyi is not going to be one of his supporters and is actively praying for his downfall. Allowing Kang Min-Jung to have access to and the support from someone so determined is just simply dangerous. Not to mention, there is also the added shock of realizing that he underestimated Saeroyi who has been plotting for 8 years.

fun fact: you can visit the dan bam restaurant in Itaewon! not sure if it is still called dan bam but its the exact same building/location where they filmed the show and the have a bunch of pictures of the cast on the back wall of the restaurant and they play in the show in there as well. last i saw you can even still access the rooftop!

this episode was when I officially began my hate for Soo-ah and my annoyance for how much Saeroyi allows her to walk all over him. you are right Bryce: she has it good and honestly, things being tough on her are basically her own fault. there are other companies she could work for but she still actively chooses to continue to work for the company owned by the people who destroyed the life of the person that she calls a friend. nah, miss me with that noise. thanks for another great reaction guys!

Everyone over here fighting between SooAh and YiSeo and I'm over here shipping HyunYi with everybody in the show, my girl just a queen like that. And a semi ship between YiSeo and SooAh lbr. 'Cutie'. In all honesty though, at this point in the show, I really prefer the idea of Saeroyi not ending up with anyone. I think the stronger statement right now would be for him to find his footing in the life of not having to worry about love and to focus on his goals. Though I guess the argument could be made that love pushed him to his current battle strategy. I'm looking forward to every upcoming episode.

What Saeroyi meant by he would destroy Jjanga so Soo-ah doesn’t have to suffer is that he means mentally. You are right, Soo-ah does have a pretty good life in terms of financially and the position she has at the company but emotionally and mentally it does seem tough on her that she does unfortunately work for a horrible person and a horrible person who screwed with her “friends’” life. ( although still completely her choice) But just to clarify he also was not indicating that she was is the reason he wants to destroy Jjanga (that has always been his goal), he just said that as a reassurance to her like “don’t worry I will destroy Jjanga anyways and you won’t have to suffer anymore” (more or less😂) but yea love your reactions and I can’t to see how you guys react to the character we saw a sneak peak of this episode :)

Hoping even though you dont ship Yi-Seo and Saeroyi , you come to appreciate and respect whatever they got goin on. sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

So it's not about the amount he invested bc obviously $2 million of stocks is nothing to a huge company. It's more of a slap in the face to the chairman bc we saw that he was underestimating Saeroyi until he learned that he's been quietly planning for his doom all the way back from 8 years ago.
