The physical age gap is there, but really, Saeroyi didn't have much life experience since he was in prison, then on a boat working. Emotionally, he's younger.

I don't understand why it's so hard for you to root for this ship ? The age gap is not a problem and at least Yiseo is helping Saeroyi, we can't say the same about Soo-ah. I cannot understand the fact that you want Saeroyi to end up with Soo-ah just because she's the same age as him.

He had no restaurant experience so the only thing that Yi-seo thought he would be an asset to was the fact that they can have someone else be a English speaker apart from her. (Cuz Itaewon has a lot of foreigners) So Yi-seo could be like “well you can’t do what I hired u for so…bye” She doesn’t have much empathy for others so that’s probably how they think she will react💀

2023-06-23 03:48:41 +0000 UTCThis is just a cute little thing I noticed watching the show again with you guys but Ho-Jin doesn’t even call Saeroyi “Saeroyi, he actually calls him “Royi” (he did in the scene where they were talking with Ms Kang) and I just taught it was a cute little indication of how close they are, cuz with Korean you usually don’t give nicknames unless you are pretty damn close.
