There is an interesting and I believe very key moment in episode 5 (the episode in which Nate can't get a table, or a free coffee machine, and Ted laughs at him for thinking he's a big dog" when Nate asks Keeley to make him famous, she says "You don't want to be famous! you are where you are because of who you are" and the look on his face is one of absolute despair
