it's frustrating to hear people saying that "there cant be a gay prince in a royal family." monarchies are really a thing of the past and more ceremonial in this day and age. they've found too that they need to move with the times to stop them becoming antiquated. as others have said, the swedish royal family made a statement after season 1 of young royals was released saying they have no issue with royal family members sexualities whatever they may be. nordic countries are usually more liberal than other western countries anyway.. so that's a move in the right direction. when comments are made about "you cant be a prince and be gay" - that may be true outwardly in the past.. but i guarantee you over the hundreds of years theres been many a LGBTQIA+ royal family member.. they just havent been able to live their lives on their own terms. it's sad - hopefully shows like this and red, white and royal blue raise awareness and change that.

I understand why Wilhelm denied the video since it would blow over quicker if he did since he is the famous person in the video. But I wish he would have called and told Simon about it first so he didnβt have to feel betrayed and hurt by Wilhelm who said he wouldnβt leave Simon to deal with it alone. Which he now did. Season 3 is the final season sadly for us who loves this show ππ. Enjoy season 2.
