2023-10-15 13:15:32 +0000 UTCIn Denmark, Sweden and Norway it is not the first born male, but the first born child that inherits the throne. It used to be the first born male. But thankfully that changed. In Denmark our current queen inherited the throne from her father, because she was the oldest of three daughters and he didn't have a son. In 2009 it was changed by law that it would be the first born child and not first born male.
