2023-10-25 00:30:59 +0000 UTCThis was such a sad love story & I cried so much watching it. Unfortunately, homosexuality is still very taboo in society in S Korea. Also unfortunately in S Korea, too often parents care more about their reputation than anything else, esp at the cost of their child's happiness (remember the few EAW episodes that showed this - i.e. the med student brother who died, etc.) P.S. he spoke English because he was from America - his name was Ian Park and in the beginning of the ep, the dead doctor's parents said something like "he's returning back" & then they showed someone on a plane with a cello (landing.)

2023-10-18 02:31:41 +0000 UTCZuff: his English is so good! yes, because he's American lol I love you Zuff, never change. anyway, this is one of my faves of the season because I love how we get such a deep dive into the characters and we spend so much time with them. I do hate that it ended up being a tragic gay love story (as if we don't have enough of those) but do enjoy the representation in kdramas. on to the next one!
