2023-10-23 04:51:14 +0000 UTCA couple clarifications about the finale: Marcus was at the shooting range with Felice and Wilhelm because they are underage. August is over 18 so he can be there on his own, which is why Marcus isn’t in that scene. Also, when Sara says August was going to come clean this winter, she means the winter that just passed. They are approaching the end of the school year so it is spring. That’s why Simon is shocked when he says “this winter” because it means that Sara’s has known for months and didn’t tell him.

Sara lost me the moment she went to August and made that deal about keeping quiet in exchange for him helping get her into the school as a boarder back in episode 1x06. I agree that August was a creep with manipulative intentions when he first kissed her and that obviously confused her, but she allowed herself to continue exploring these new feelings she was having even once she knew what he'd done and how much it affected her brother. Even though we got to see "nice" moments that appear genuine between Sara and August this season, I could never get on board with their relationship because of how it all started, and the degree of wrong in both of their actions. I'm glad both August and Sara are feeling the consequences of their actions by the end of this episode. I do anticipate a redemption arc for Sara next season but as always have no idea what to expect when it comes to August.

It was beautiful seeing Wilhelm making Simon and his relationship public since he knows that Simon really doesn’t want to be his secret. Simon saying I love you to Wilhelm gave him the confident to stand up for what he wants and what makes him happy in life. He didn’t eat for two days up to the speech because he was so depressed. I’m with Rob, Wilhelm is my favorite character too. I think Edvin who plays Wilhelm is such a talanted actor, I really think he will go far. It would be fun to see you react to the teaser of Season 3 which was released this week 👑💙💜⚜️
