P.S. the adoption reveal impacted me emotionally & made me love/respect the dad even more than already did bc unfortunately in S Korea many people still have a narrow-minded view of "family being blood". Adoption is not very common (most Korean orphans are adopted oversees as a result.) Kids who are orphans and/or adopted are looked down upon, mistreated, abused, abandoned, & it's terrible. (In fact, there are MANY kdramas with this premise or character backstory!)

2023-10-23 03:23:06 +0000 UTCwe finally got Bryce! haha all jokes aside, the Sampoong Department Store disaster is a real event and when I found that out, I was shocked! one thing I admire about kdramas is how they like to incorporate real life events into their fictional stories. it gives them a lot of weight, imo. I love this episode because you can finally see how much Sang-gu really does care about Geu-ru and vice versa. thanks for the reaction guys!
