Yellowjackets Episode 2x8 'It Chooses' EXTRA Early Access/Watchalong

Comments

all good points.

IRONDOG98

I think the show made a point that Travis and Natalie tried to find food for months and barely saw or trapped anything. Whether it was bad hunting/tracking skills or you believe that "the wilderness" made it that way, the show lets us know they were actively trying to find food but there was no game in the surrounding area. Even before the bear, one of the deer they found was rotten/diseased. Seems supernatural to me, but also could not be.

Jenna

this episode really makes me question the lack of effort by the group to secure food. Up until now I have been worried about Ben's "future" but as the adult he should have recognized how long the bear meat would last and tried motivating someone to find a source of food a month or so in. I imagine Ben will stay in that tree or be jerky soon. I think Shawna will do just fine in prison if the cops live through this.

IRONDOG98

as much as I love the chase scene with nat (music in this show always hits perfectly and elevates every scene so well), I wish they would've done more to build on this moment UGHHHH. LIke why not cut off a limb? Why murder in the middle of the living room? felt kinda rushed maybe........ idk... I'm putting my trust in the writers because there are way too many things I love about this show to have that be my biggest takeaway. I do love how it makes me still worry about the fates of these girls even though I know what the future looks like.
