Shiv isn't an option for the blood sacrifice. The blood sacrifice is someone who will take the blame for all these illegal activities / cover-ups. Shiv didn't / doesn't work for the company (sure she is involved and does stuff for them all the time but she has no title and doesn't get a paycheck (just another way she gets screwed over and kept out)). Also, Shiv is the youngest and was a child/teenager when the majority of these crimes were actually occurring. It would absolutely be wild and only make things way worse for Logan and the execs if they tried to sacrifice Shiv and be like - "This woman who was a child when the crimes were committed and has never worked for the company is the real one to blame." lol not an option

2023-12-03 00:31:08 +0000 UTCOh yeah and I just watched the full watch along, Logan wants Rhea so bad because naming a successor was meant to help at the shareholder meeting. Back in episode 1 of this season, Laird told Logan it would be best to name someone to show stability. He announced her already at his 50 year anniversary. If she stepped down with all that's going on then it looks bad. I'm sure Logan liked Rhea as a person but he's also smart enough to understand the optics.
