What is interesting about this show is that they provide the backstory to literally EVERYONE & they show what tragic lives or difficult situations they were in - so yes, I think we're meant to sympathize with the N Koreans too. They're not evil trying to do bad - they're all forced to do their government's biddings & exploited for their powers, just like our main characters. Such good writing.

They're asked to run a supermarket in a small town, and many other actors also joining and helping. I don't know what platform it's available for you guys legally, but it's pretty easy to search the program with english subtitles in google.
