After watching on YouTube for a long time I decided to sign up specifically so I could see the full reaction to this movie haha. It didn't disappoint! Saltburn is my favorite movie of 2023.

Robert Benham

The knowing looks into the camera from Rob 😂

Jackie B

This is the definition of the long con right here lol. Barry Keoghan really is a phenomenal actor.

Heather Geer

Robs face during the grave scene totally sent me omg ☠️

The visuals of this movie alone would make me love it even if the unfomfy scenes had completely taken me out of the movie, which they didn't. But that's how in love I am with the cinematography of this movie. And the Greek Mythology references have me completely obsessed. Both story references as well as imagery (the Minotaur in the labyrinth, Icarus, and the story of hubris). It's such a good way to do a modern interpretation of those stories and ideas. And then like I said, add on top of that the actual imagery shown (the minotaur statue in the middle of their maze, Felix with the wings, Oliver with the antlers that kind of resemble horns) Im obsessed.

in an interview (i believe) emerald fennell, the director, said that she wanted the movie's aspect ratio to look like that so the viewers would have the sense of "peeping in" and seeing all of the characters as if they were in a dollhouse sorta vibe and i think that's super genius and really amps up the uncomfortable feeling in many of those scenes. a lot of the interviews with her and the cast offer some really cool insights into the behind-the-scenes making of this film which i think is why i appreciate it so much more after watching!

bella

upgraded tier jus for this lol

s

Yes, he was infatuated with him & admired him from afar. I think he set-up those things to get into his life & when he arrived at Saltburn his infatuation bled into obsession (no pun intended!)

Tania R

he did plan everything from the beginning tho like before he even met him

celery

That was a great reaction ❤. I really enjoyed it. It was fun and traumatizing at the same time! I think Oliver's love for Felix was obsessive & parasitical when Felix did not reciprocate his feelings Oliver took his life, took over his family and Saltburn. That final dance from Oliver was to show absolute ownership of Felix even after death. (I think).

Tania R

I really want a prequel backstory that explores Elsbeth and Poor Dear Pamela’s friendship

Crystal Pritchard

Is the bath scene worst than the time of the month scene? Give me the bath water any day because the taste of blood is not something I can do.

Robert W

i’ve seen this film 3 times and im still shocked by it

tala

y'all did not use the bathtub scene as the thumbnail 😭😂 excited to watch 🤭

Kiana

OMG YAYYY!! im so excited guys you dont even knoww!

Jazz

🪦🪦💀

Karina Ortiz

rosamund pike serving the best performance in this movie, i love her so much!!

bella

🛀🛀

Tia Lily

Though Oliver was a psychopath but I don’t feel bad about that family. Even Felix who seemed like a “good” person was shitty, Oliver was right in saying that he liked to collect people who were poorer then him as toys to perform for him and discarded them when he was bored

🎶it’s murder on the dance floor🎶
