While You Were Sleeping Episode 2 WATCHALONG

Snax, I read your comment before watching the video and first impression was rude and entitled but I decided to watch the video to see if there was any validity in your point. There wasn't. It was a perfectly fine reaction and you were definitely being sensitive because it's one of your favorite shows. I really wonder how you got a lack of interest from the reaction. And, what do you mean that predicting a major reveal was insulting? Insulting to who? By chance, did you write the show? It's giving toxic stan behavior. Guess what, on my first watch I thought the exact same thing so sue me. As someone who watches a LOT of reaction videos, I understand that it may sometimes be hard to remember that while this may be a second or tenth watch for you, it's the reactor's first watch so I hope you try to approach comments under reactions with more grace. I understand that this comment is a couple months old but I just saw the comment and it was so unhinged that I had to respond. You also managed to turn an apology into an accusation of gaslighting. It's really showing that you don't know what the word is. Pointing out actual wrongdoing is not gaslighting and guess what, you are legitimately in the wrong here and misheel was so gracious through the whole thing. Also, the fact that you try to weaponize your trauma as an excuse for your rude behavior is just wrong and I had to comment if only to tell you that. We all have trauma. If we all start behaving badly because of it, what would the world turn to? Like I'm not even sure how the experience you mentioned is relevant here.

2024-03-15 11:54:16 +0000 UTCI wish more reactors would react to Crash Course in Romance, since it was my husband's & my fav Kdrama of 2023!

2024-02-09 04:47:35 +0000 UTCas a person who came from an abusive household where someone actually was court ordered for anger management, gaslighting me and flippantly telling someone that their disagreements require them to go to anger management is a bit...much. back tracking and then passive aggressively apologizing is also.....

2024-02-07 01:27:06 +0000 UTCi apologise if my first comment hurt you - i just mean that you can’t expect others to change (or fake) their reactions to accommodate your standards. this channel is meant for our entertainment, so let’s be more grateful :))

2024-02-06 17:45:11 +0000 UTC"stop being so sensitive" my sibling in christ, you called their *reaction* to a television series plot point "a bit of an insult." an insult to whom? misheel pointed out that it seems weird to police how people react to things, and they're right. you're free to be disappointed, but it's only episode 2. perhaps give them time to get into it as much as you already are.

2024-02-06 14:49:39 +0000 UTCLmfao. If you think sharing disappointment is being rude, then you need to grow up a bit. Stop being so sensitive. Not only was I not rude, but I also not once acted like the world revolves around me. Imagine thinking you’re so above someone that you insult their character to try to sound superior….also maybe you should take your own words to heart. The hypocrisy is insane

2024-02-05 22:31:48 +0000 UTCP.S. thank you SO MUCH for showing a little bit of the beginning of the episode to sync with (not just the title sequence) bc the platform I'm watching from doesn't have the title sequence. It really helped sync up & watchalong! 🙏😊

2024-02-05 22:04:05 +0000 UTCremember that the world doesn't revolve around you - people can approach/react to things differently. its never that serious, so lets be a bit kinder yea?

2024-02-05 21:09:16 +0000 UTCI was going to say watching WYWS this time around I was beginning to like Jae-chan's brother more! Then I realised that was Shin Jae-hae and he is also in Crash Course In Romance!!! I think they should react to Crash Course In Romance as well. I think a wide selection of kdrama will help them!

2024-02-05 10:42:52 +0000 UTCthis reaction really bothered me. and honestly the first one did as well. there just seems to be a major lack of attention and understanding, and i don't know if it's because you're just not that interested in the show itself or you truly are confused by things, but it's disheartening. if you're not interested, please don't continue to watch. the constant attempts at trying to remember where you've seen people before seems to take away your attention to the show itself, or since you aren't interested maybe you're more easily distracted? acting like a major reveal really wasn't that interesting was a bit of an insult. and the amount of time you put in to wondering why the dad stayed with the bus was ridiculous. he obviously didn't stay with the bus because he liked his job and his bus that much. it was clear he was a kind and caring individual and was attempting to talk down someone he probably thought he could save as well. also he wasn't denying the proof of their shared dreams because he deals with crimes after the fact. he doesn't want the responsibility of saving someone on his shoulders, and carry the weight of failing if he can't do that. he's a classic anti hero. i dunno. you usually approach things with a higher level of understanding and interest that this just really was a let down. one of my favorite shows and some of my favorite reactors; this was a little tough.

2024-02-05 04:52:48 +0000 UTCWhat?! Bryce, you've watched 4 eps of Twinkling Watermelon?! That was my #2 fav Kdrama of 2023 (#1 being Crash Course in Romance). The picking & rubbing little bits of paper from the bad lawyer is significant bc our main character knows that as a sign of his "scheming" from their past (they showed it in the first ep.) P.S. the senior prosecutor looks familiar bc he was judge Ryu from EAW (the one obsessed with people's last name family origin!)
