Compulsory Christmas Upload
Added 2016-12-22 19:47:05 +0000 UTCI tried out Blender's Cycles engine, I could have done higher quality rendering, but I don't think I physically have enough time before christmas.
I think I'll post this here to let you guys see it early, then post the video publically closer to christmas.
Like my youtube comment says, this sums up how this year felt. At the risk of sounding overdramatic, I think this was one of the worst years of my life. But then again, I have been very fortunate for having a such a good life, so a few bad things happening to me and in general stick out. At least those can be accepted so long as I remember all the good that's there.
But that doesn't make for a very spicy meme so MAN 2016 SUXXXX lol

For reference, each of those frames took around 5 minutes to render, and that's 75 ray samples. Here's what I consider "best" quality, at 500 samples, this took just over half an hour for one frame.: <a href="http://i.imgur.com/lkgzWIA.jpg" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://i.imgur.com/lkgzWIA.jpg</a> but there's still noticeable grain on the ground, any more samples and it wouldn't make much difference. That's partially why I only kept it at 75 for the video, the diminishing returns.
