2024-05-20 04:01:45 +0000 UTCI love how they were able to outsmart Elijah twice. it was such a good plot twist to have Elena stake him. I also hate the fact that John had almost got damon killed. Also the flashbacks showing the brothers in reverse is so cool.

2024-05-02 02:59:12 +0000 UTCRIP Elijah. Gonna miss his genteel sass. It's always a bit jarring when they do flashbacks to 1864 and Damon is such a different person. But it's nice to see occasional reminders that he wasn't always a shitty person. This part of the season is where the scenes with Stefan and Elena are starting to get a bit cringe. I know she's trying to be the understanding girlfriend in this ep, but she's almost too cool during Stefan's whole "I became a cold-blooded serial killer for a bit" walk down memory lane. Next episode should be an interesting one!
