definitely not the typical romance! and yeah i agree that they're not good people, even if they can't really help who they are. i mean they hurt people so... but i still couldn't help feel for them and get a bit teary at the end. another HIT by luca guadagnino

I don't think Maren and Lee are bad people for this which is why there was that scene with the cannibal guy to show the difference. This is during the 80s which was Reagan-era and the AIDs epidemic. Anyone outside of what was considered "normal" at the time were heavily ostracized.
