It's a real children's book....pretty morbid ( it's an alphabet book where a kid whose name starts with each letter of the alphabet dies in a different way). It came out in 1963.

And no, Nathan didn't knock two women up at the same time, he married Bonnie and had Skye. Madeline married Ed (Adam Scott) and had Chloe. Madeline said "I don't think that math is right" when Bonnie said that and Bonnie was like "well Abby is Skye's half-sister." I didn't watch the full length reaction yet so idk if you figured it out but the interviews happen in the future so a murder didn't occur yet.
