so true!! i’m obsessed with the way camera moves this ep how it follows jacob n assad, now titled it is in scenes w armand n daniel to portray his disorientation

Also remember back to episode one when Louis said that he had read Daniel's book but was disappointed that there was no mention 9f him yet he didn't recognize his own words that he has spoken to Daniel that made him get his life together. That's how scrambled Louis' memory and mind are.

What Armand was saying to young Daniel towards the end wasn't his actual future and but it was meant to sadden and demoralize Daniel to the point that he welcomed death when Armand bit him.

God I love this show lol it just keeps getting better and better. Everyone's acting is TOP TIER!!

fun fact and more reason to love this episode: this episode was the first they shot of the season, in sequence, like a play, meaning the actors did their own transitions (like assad pulling the table, tearing the paper off the window)... just mindblowing acting all around, as always, but especially worth noting this episode!

lo !!

Truly an enigma even to himself

As a fellow Lestat fan, I love how much you guys enjoy Lestat. He definitely brings a levity to the show and Sam Reid is just so phenomenal in the role. It’s hard not to love him

Lanie R.

he’s so fascinating (lol) this ep is a good glimpse into him like this combination of ancient unfathomable vampire power and his almost childlike vulnerability n insecurities

Sasha simone

You guys aren’t wrong, Armand is messing up Louis memories. Armand repeating what Louis had said to Daniel at the beginning of the episode is indicating that Armand compelled Louis to say things like that.

Rache

Such a great episode - definitely worth watching twice to take it all in - that's what I did anyway. The first viewing was just so overwhelming, the second I actually got more info.

Karen Wood

Armand is my favorite I don't care I however do not defend him i just enjoy him I wanna pick his weird little brain

Valentine
