I feel like Elle is just in survival mode, she's stuck in a town with campbell and has no one to run to. with no friends to help her she has to put up with him because if she makes a fuss I think she's aware he would kill her

2024-09-18 02:36:09 +0000 UTCIn the scene where Clark comes home to Gwen after beating up Dewey. She notices the bruised and bloody knuckles and looks concerned and scared. Then when she asks him about it he talks more violence. She tries to encourage him to let the others take the lead and stop the violence, but he gets frustrated and escalates threatening murder then immediately starts kissing her. It's not getting her hot, she's scared and concerned. That's why she starts talking about their first time. She's not just reminiscing. She's scared of how violent he's getting and what he will do next. She's trying to remind him of a time he was very gentle and concerned for her and emphasize that that was a good thing and that is who he should be, gentle. He completely ignores her. Great reaction! I feel like this is a show that gets more intense and complicated with every episode so I'm excited to see you react to the rest of the season!
